Mainstream Republicans of Washington (MRW) Endorses in Three Statewide Races

Mainstream Republicans of Washington (MRW) announced endorsements for Raul Garcia for U.S. Senate, Dave Reichert for Governor, and Jaime Herrera Beutler for Commissioner of Public Lands.

Deanna Martinez, MRW’s Chair, said, “This is probably the strongest line-up of excellent Republican candidates in Washington state in at least a decade. Each of these four candidates can build winning coalitions of Republicans, independents and Democrats who want to see positive change in the State.”

Martinez observed, “building a big-tent coalition is the attribute that Republican candidates need to win in statewide races where Washington Republicans don’t currently hold any statewide elected offices. These candidates are practical and are addressing real issues with the status quo. They are the kind of pragmatic problem solvers that so many Washingtonians wish we had in office instead of far-left ideologues. This team is ready to address the public safety, environmental and public education failures that most of us see every day. They’ll work to make the lives of Washingtonians better.”

Mainstream stands as one of the longest standing and most effective political organizations in the Pacific Northwest. MRW was founded over 40 years ago to provide a voice for moderate Republicans within the GOP.
