Walsh election as party chair is good news for GOP, say Mainstream Republicans

Deanna Martinez, chair of Mainstream Republicans of Washington, released this statement following the election of Jim Walsh as chair of the state Republican Party.

“We are delighted by the election of Jim Walsh as chair of the state Republican Party. He has the ability and the passion to unite Washington Republicans of all stripes, from the grass roots to the elected level. In the state House of Representatives, Walsh is known for his leadership, his speaking skills, and his power to move people with the strength of his conviction. He owes allegiance to no faction.
