MRW Vehemently Condemns the Events in Our Nation's Capital on January 6th

Mainstream Republicans of Washington’s leadership is deeply saddened by the actions of protesters in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, January 6th, as are all responsible Republicans and Americans of every stripe. One of our nation’s most cherished traditions is the peaceful transfer of power. This principle is the foundation of our democracy, and it is far more important than who wins or loses any single election. When the people vote, we need to respect their decision. Mainstream Republicans of Washington join with all who deplore today’s violence. It’s time for the nonsense to end.
