The Board of Directors and members of the Mainstream Republicans of Washington would like to thank Kim Wyman for her faithful service to our great state as Secretary of State from 2012 to 2021. She leaves behind a legacy of over 30 years of dedicated service to our state’s elections.

Mainstream held a reception for Kim Wyman last night recognizing her outstanding commitment to public service. Kim has always put public service above partisanship, and will continue to now do this at the Federal level as she strives to improve election cybersecurity. This is a vital position and is truly on the front-lines as foreign-powers ramp-up their asymmetric warfare efforts to undermine trust in American democracy. Kim is a great person for this job - and we support her past and future election-security efforts that transcend partisanship.

Secretary Wyman has accepted a position with the Biden administration as Senior Election Security Lead for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. November 19th was her last day in office. Kim has always put public service above partisanship, and will continue to now do this at the federal level as she strives to improve election cybersecurity.
